Tele2 AB issues Swedish krona Bonds


Stockholm - Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B)
announces that Tele2 AB successfully placed a 5 year bond in the Swedish bond
market.

Tele2 AB, has successfully completed the issuance of a 5 year SEK 2.3 billion
bond in the Swedish bond market. The amount is split between a fixed rate
tranche of SEK 800 million with a coupon of 4.875% and a floating rate tranche
of SEK 1.5 billion with a coupon of 3m STIBOR +2.85%. This is the largest ever
unrated public corporate SEK denominated transaction, according to the Joint
Lead Managers.

Nordea Bank Danmark A/S  and Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ) have acted as Joint
Lead Managers for the transactions.
