PRIOR LAKE, Minn., May 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Prior Lake Rotary Club announced its final lineup for the 2012 Lakefront Music Fest. Country music artist Travis Tritt and classic rock band Creedence Clearwater Revisited will headline the festival, a two-day event at Lakefront Park in Prior Lake on Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14. Twin Cities bands Rocket Club, G.B. Leighton and The Butanes will also take the stage for the non-profit event.
"We are excited for this amazing lineup of both national and local talent that will help us support local non-profits, as well," said Paul Perez, Lakefront Music Fest co-chair. "We look forward to offering a wider variety of music and are excited about our strong lineup of musicians."
The event was created by the Prior Lake Rotary and is presented by Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, which donated $50,000 to support the event.
This year, the Rotary will share profits from the festival with the following non-profits: River Valley YMCA, Tee it up for the Troops, the Laker Athletic Booster Club (LABC), and Patrons of the Arts and Activities (PAA).
