BRANTFORD, Ontario, May 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Beattie Animal Hospital in Brantford, ON announced that the veterinary clinic has opened a new location to better serve the Hamilton community. The new location, known as Beattie Pet Hospital, is at 135 Upper Centennial Parkway in Stoney Creek. The full service animal hospital provides 24-hour onsite care and also carries pet supplies, including prescription diets. Pet owners may schedule an appointment for any time of the day or night that is convenient for them. Appointment services include a wellness exam with a veterinarian, surgical care, and vaccinations.
The Brantford veterinary care team announced that Beattie Animal Hospital has opened a new Stoney Creek location on May 7th. The new location is the second for the animal hospital and provides 24-hour onsite pet care for the Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities.

Services at the new pet hospital include a routine wellness exam with a veterinarian, vaccinations, spay and neuter operations, standard surgical procedures and nutritional counseling. Grooming and boarding will continue to be available through the hospital's main location in Brantford. The location will also provide onsite pet care products, including pet food supplies and prescription diets.
"If your pet has special dietary needs due to a weight control issue or food allergies, a prescription diet is essential," said the vet care team. "However, we recognize that it can be difficult to purchases these special diets locally, which is why we are thrilled to offer them at our new pet hospital."
Beattie Pet Hospital will be following the same strict standards of companion animal care, as dictated by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). "Our main hospital is already certified by the American Animal Hospital Association after meeting strict animal care standards," said the Branford veterinary team. "While our new pet hospital has just opened, we will be following these same strict standards and look forward to earning AAHA's seal of approval here as well."
