David Zoll Departs Barclays Wealth for Fieldpoint Private

Ultra High Net Worth Advisor Leads Rapidly Growing Practice

GREENWICH, CT--(Marketwire - Jun 25, 2012) - Fieldpoint Private, the fast-growing wealth advisory and private banking firm serving ultra high net worth families and institutions, today announced that David Zoll has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Mr. Zoll comes to Fieldpoint Private from Barclays Wealth, where he managed a broad and integrated scope of investment and banking needs on behalf of 40 ultra high net worth families.

Mr. Zoll said that he has had his eye on Fieldpoint Private from its start in 2008. "I think it is a model that ultra high net worth clients find unique," he said. "The notion of remarkable service combined with customized, unconflicted wealth advice sounds simple on its face, but I have not found a firm that is able to deliver on it quite like Fieldpoint."

"David is very serious about putting the client first," said Robert S. Matthews, President and CEO of Fieldpoint Private. "To him, client service is defined not by transactions, but by having the intellectual wherewithal to advise clients on any piece of their wealth picture, based on a knowledge of the whole." Mr. Matthews believes Mr. Zoll's practice bears a strong resemblance to Fieldpoint Private. "David's practice is one of the fastest growing that I've seen, but he is determined that it never outgrow his highly custom approach -- his business looks a lot like ours."

In moving to Fieldpoint, Mr. Zoll is joined by Sarah Kechejian, who was most recently an analyst at Barclays Wealth, and served previously at Lehman Brothers, also as an analyst.

Prior to Barclays Wealth, Mr. Zoll spent 18 years with UBS and its predecessor company, PaineWebber. There, he served as Regional Director of New York, and also in a succession of senior management roles including Director of National Sales and Head of Market Strategy and Development. He was a member of the UBS Wealth Management Executive Committee. Before joining PaineWebber, he was a financial advisor with E.F. Hutton, which he joined after graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Clark University. A resident of New Jersey, Zoll will be based in Fieldpoint Private's New York City location.
