SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS--(Marketwire - July 16, 2012) - AssetWorks, a leader in Intelligent Workplace Management(SM), today announced that four current customers have signed definitive agreements to upgrade to AiM™, the company's industry-leading Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). These customers include the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of General Services, the State of Florida's Department of Corrections, the University of Iowa, and Texas State University. In aggregate, these institutions represent nearly 150 million gross square feet of owned and leased space. AiM was selected chiefly because of its lightweight, database agnostic, browser-based architecture and comprehensive functionality.
"Attracting customers is one matter, but retaining customers over the long term is an entirely different matter altogether," said Ken Slaughter, Senior Vice President, AssetWorks. "On average, these institutions have been our customers for over a decade. We're very proud of these lasting relationships and view them as testament to the quality of our products and services. We look forward to serving each of them as they make the transition from legacy AssetWorks products to AiM."
AiM helps organizations reduce costs by promoting better oversight and utilization of facilities and real estate; eliminates management redundancies and proactively manages the workplace; ensures regulatory and fiscal compliance by providing auditable data and complete transparency to enterprise assets; and helps organizations realize their sustainability and business continuity goals.
