DETROIT, July 31, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Viper Networks, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VPER) announces that the Company's President and CEO will be traveling to Frankfurt, Germany in mid-August to meet with top executives at Apollo Metro Solutions' headquarters regarding their expanding partnership and Viper Networks' recent investment to help fund their U.S-based LED manufacturing facility.
Specifically, the European trip to Apollo Metro's operations in Germany are expected to help define the different lines of LED manufacturing products to be produced out of the new Naples, Florida plant and to potentially render a decision to expand initial build-out parameters beyond earlier understandings.
As announced two weeks ago, the Company has signed an agreement to acquire 49% of Apollo Metro Solutions, Inc. and paid cash funds equal to approximately 12.5 percent of the final acquisition price, which will be disclosed once all plant construction expenses are complete and final build-out cost has been determined for the new facility located on the west coast of South Florida.
Viper Networks has been diligently working with Apollo Metro Solutions' engineers on new designs for an 'Advance LED Street Lighting System,' which is also expected to be finalized during the mid-August European trip.
Viper Networks is actively working to secure major LED commercial orders in both the private and public sectors, including potential business from some of the largest government municipalities in the U.S. Apollo Metro Solutions expects to complete the LED manufacturing facility prior to calendar year end and to commence numerous product production run operations shortly thereafter.
Viper Networks believes that the North American and worldwide markets for energy saving streetlights and parking lot lights provides a tremendous opportunity for a new generation of LED lighting, especially environmentally-friendly LED products.
