Help Hospitalized Veterans Reaffirms Commitment to Veterans

WINCHESTER, Calif., Aug. 14, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Help Hospitalized Veterans (HHV) shares and supports the California Attorney General's stated focus of making our veterans a priority, which is why for the past four decades, HHV has been dedicated to providing important goods and services to veterans nationwide.

What makes HHV unique is its direct connection to the veterans it serves and pride in the American way. Since the beginning, HHV's focus has been on the therapeutic process as veterans recuperate from their maladies and injuries taken on through their sacrifice and service to our country. It starts with the good people from all corners of the United States who selflessly donate to the hospitalized veterans cause. It includes our wonderful staff and employees; people from the local California community who make many of the craft kits onsite with American craftsmanship and care. It continues with the tireless work of the craft-care specialists, who directly visit with the veterans and assist the care providers with a ready supply of craft kits specialized for the particular veteran. Finally, it ends with the veterans themselves and the sense of pride and satisfaction they achieve, such as when they hand over that completed craft as a gift to their child or grandchildren they made based on skills they re-acquired, with their own hands.

While disappointed in the recent accusations leveled against the company, HHV looks forward to respond with facts and information that should change the current perception of HHV for those who are willing to listen. In the end, you don't last for 40-plus years as a non-profit unless you're doing something right in helping the deserving veterans of this nation. HHV is extremely honored and humbled to be able to provide the kind of services, sponsorships, and donations that have helped our veterans, and looks forward to continuing to provide such services in the years to come.
