StrikeForce Acknowledged Among 9 Unheralded Technology Innovators

Keystroke Encryption Can Put an End to Data Breaches

EDISON, NJ--(Marketwire - Aug 21, 2012) - StrikeForce Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: SFOR), creators of out-of-band authentication and anti-keylogging keystroke encryption, today announced that their keystroke encryption technology has been named one of the top nine unheralded technology innovations.

"Some of the indispensable technology that you use every day was so ahead of its time that it now goes largely unnoticed. Here the innovations that forever changed email, Web development, database management and other 'givens' in today's tech finally get their due," reported John Brandon in an August feature for CIO Magazine. "Because some of these achievements are so widespread, they are also easy to overlook. Not anymore. We're giving nine of these unheralded technology innovations their due here."

"In the enterprise, malware infections can run rampant. One of the worst offenders is a keylogger, which is a piece of software that can record each keystroke," noted Brandon. "Criminals use them to capture business intelligence data, credit card numbers and bank records. Fortunately, keystroke encryption prevents these attacks. Companies such as StrikeForce Technologies invented encryption technology at the hardware layer for companies to augment security detection techniques. Now it's used on more than 4 million computers, with the potential for much more."

"Keystroke encryption can help put an end to data security breaches," said George Waller, EVP of StrikeForce. "If every computer had keystroke encryption, keyloggers, which have been used in part for virtually every major breach in the last decade, would be rendered useless."

Server side scripting, IP cameras, multi-purpose internet mail extensions, OAuth, virtual market research, open database connectivity, reputation management and local new aggregation rounded out the top 9.
