WAKEFIELD, RI--(Marketwire - Sep 18, 2012) - ChartWise Medical Systems, Inc., (www.chartwisemed.com), an innovative Computer-Assisted Clinical Documentation Improvement (CACDI) software company, is set to exhibit its ChartWise:CDI software product at the upcoming 84th American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Convention & Exhibit.
The ChartWise:CDI software shown at AHIMA will include new functionality to help bridge the gap between ICD-9 and ICD-10. ChartWise's software already contains a built-in feature which allows the user to scroll over an ICD-9 code to view its ICD-10 equivalent. The CACDI company is now taking its software a step further by providing additional training tips to ease the transition to the more extensive documentation requirements in the new ICD-10 codes.
