MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2012) - Fresche Legacy has been selected by Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) to modernize and update its real estate division's mission critical applications running on the IBM i (AS/400). LADWP's real estate division owns and manages more than 310,000 acres in the Eastern Sierra to deliver reliable, safe water and electricity to 3.8 million residents and businesses in Los Angeles. Fresche Legacy will execute the conversion of the legacy applications that are currently written in RPG to a Microsoft C# .NET environment that will run on HP systems. The modernization will allow LADWP to improve business process efficiencies, reduce IT operating costs and give it access to state-of-the-art IT capabilities to better serve its customers.
