Wolfgang M. Neumann appointed new President & CEO of Rezidor


The  Board of  Directors of  the Rezidor  Hotel Group  has appointed Wolfgang M.
Neumann  as new President & Chief  Executive Officer (CEO) of Rezidor; effective
January 1, 2013. He succeeds Kurt Ritter who is retiring at the end of the year.

Wolfgang M. Neumann (50 years) is since May 2011 Chief Operating Officer (COO) &
Executive Vice President of the Rezidor Hotel Group.

"We  are pleased to announce Wolfgang M.  Neumann as Kurt Ritter's successor. He
has  an extensive  experience in  international hotel  management. Wolfgang will
build  on Rezidor's strengths as an industry  leader, and will continue to focus
on revenue generation and profitable growth", said Trudy Rautio, Chairman of the
Rezidor Hotel Group and President & CEO of Carlson.

Kurt  Ritter (65 years)  is stepping down  on his own  request after 23 years as
President  & CEO of  Rezidor. He will  assist Wolfgang M.  Neumann as an advisor
during  a transition  period of  three months  as from January 1, 2013, and will
afterwards continue to serve as a key strategic advisor to Trudy Rautio.
