Pradaxa is a blood-thinning medication manufactured by Boehringer-Ingelheim. All the lawsuits currently pending in the Pradaxa Products Liability Litigation involve allegations that Boehringer-Ingelheim failed to adequately warn prescribers and users of Pradaxa as to the risk of serious and sometimes fatal bleeding that is caused by the drug.
