Simplee and El Camino Hospital Launch Nation's First Integrated Expense Management Solution for Patients

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 1, 2012) - Health care expense management company Simplee and El Camino Hospital, an award winning and innovative locally-owned and controlled District hospital serving Silicon Valley with campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos, today announced that they have partnered to launch the nation's first completely integrated medical bill and explanation of benefits (EOB) reconciliation system.

As part of this agreement, Simplee will instantly match a patient's El Camino Hospital bill with their insurer EOB to resolve charges, explain claims, scan for possible claim errors, and pay bills online. This reconciliation system eliminates the need to compare physical statements from multiple providers and insurers over an extended period of time in order to determine final medical benefits and charges. Simplee is also offering an online bill pay option for patients who choose to pay their hospital bills online and not sign-up for the full Simplee service.
