Join RouteMatch Software for a complimentary webinar with two traveler information practitioners, Ken Smithson from Carson City's Jump Around Carson and Rich Schlameuss from Monroe County Transit Authority. These transit experts will discuss practical and creative approaches to managing growing ridership, attracting new riders, and how to enhance customer services using traveler information systems and accompanying technologies.

Conducted in a dual case study and interview format, webinar attendees will learn about how to successfully deploy and sustain cost-effective and reliable passenger communication programs. RouteMatch's RouteShout traveler information system -- used by both transit agencies for real-time and scheduled traveler information via the agencies' web site and cell phones -- will also be discussed. There will also be plenty of opportunity for questions and answers. The interview will be conducted by Daisy Wall of RouteMatch Software.

RouteMatch Software provides complete passenger and vehicle management technologies to more than 500 transit agencies nationwide.

About Ken Smithson, Transit Coordinator, Jump Around Carson

Ken Smithson has over 25 years of transit experience in both the public and private sectors, with expertise in the regulatory, technical, operations and funding aspects of public transit. He has specialized in Small Urban public transportation, serving in Las Cruces, New Mexico; Texarkana, Arkansas/Texas; Midland-Odessa, Texas; Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Carson City, Nevada. Mr. Smithson was successful in starting up the two systems in Texas (T-Line in Texarkana and EZRider in Midland-Odessa) after an absence of public transit for several decades in those areas, and saw both systems exceed all ridership projections and become well-respected in their respective communities and throughout the State.
