ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Oct 4, 2012) - DTI, the nation's largest independent provider of discovery services, facilities management, and knowledge process outsourcing, today announced that it has opened an additional National Technology Center in Atlanta. The highly secured, fault-tolerant data center is more than three times the size of the existing Atlanta facility. The new data center is connected to DTI's other data centers in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, and New York City via a high-speed Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. This capability provides clients with unparalleled distributed computing capacity and data transfer speed.
DTI invested more than $3 M in their new data center in Atlanta in response to increased client demand for discovery services from DTI. The additional data center doubled the storage, quadrupled its computing capacity, and increased Local Area Network bandwidth tenfold. Also, by the power of virtualization, DTI can now seamlessly scale storage and compute capacity online in real-time.
"Our clients will see a difference in the system-wide upgrade compared to the other facility," stated John Davenport, Jr., president and CEO of DTI. "The new national technology center enables DTI clients to have peace of mind that their data and projects will continue to be delivered on time and with the highest quality of service possible."
AMLAW 100 and Fortune 500 clients utilize DTI data centers and service centers to support a full range of electronic data discovery services that include data collection, processing, and hosting, along with traditional document services such as document management, copying, scanning, OCR, and coding.
