Old Bridge Chiropractor Announces 2012 Matawan Day Participation for Upcoming Weekend

MATAWAN, N.J., Oct. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Old Bridge Spine and Wellness Center in Matawan, NJ is participating in "Matawan Day" on Saturday, October 13. The event showcases local small businesses that are committed to Matawan's well-being, as well as local restaurants and artisans. As part of the event, the chiropractic care center will be educating community members about the benefits of natural pain management. Chiropractor Dr. Pete Bufano and Physical Therapist Dr. Daniel Neissany will be demonstrating the LiteCure Deep Tissue Class IV laser and the Game Ready compression and circumferential cooling system. Event participants can also enter a raffle to win free massages at the chiropractic center.

Matawan residents attending "Matawan Day" this Saturday, October 13 will be able to learn more about the benefits of chiropractic care for injury rehabilitation and pain management. Chiropractor Dr. Pete Bufano and Physical Therapist Dr. Daniel Neissany will have a booth at the event on behalf of their practice, Old Bridge Spine and Wellness Center.

"We are excited to be demonstrating the LiteCure Deep Tissue Class IV laser to Matawan Day attendees," said Old Bridge chiropractor Dr. Bufano. "Laser therapy is a cutting-edge treatment for injury rehabilitation that also provides natural pain relief. For years, professional athletes have used laser therapy to heal after a sports injury. Now our patients can enjoy the same benefits."

In addition to demonstrate the LiteCure therapeutic laser, Dr. Bufano and Dr. Neissany will also be demonstrating the Game Ready compression and circumferential cooling system.

"As the name suggests, the Game Ready system is the best way for injured athletes or surgery patients to become active again," said Dr. Neissany. "The Game Ready system delivers all the benefits of traditional cold therapy, with the added benefit of compression. We frequently recommend Game Ready as a complement to our physical therapy treatments."

Dr. Bufano and Dr. Neissany are demonstrating the LiteCure and Game Ready treatments to educate individuals about the benefits of non-invasive rehabilitation and drug-free pain management.

"Many individuals who are not familiar with chiropractic care mistakenly believe that treatments are all about popping or cracking the back," said Dr. Bufano. "That's simply not the case. An Old Bridge chiropractor can offer a wide range of wellness care services, including injury rehabilitation, pain relief and massage therapy."

Dr. Neissany adds, "By utilizing the latest rehabilitation technology in combination with complementary treatments like massage therapy, we can help patients heal quickly and safely following injury."

The chiropractors will be joining other local small businesses at Matawan Day. According to the Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, the annual event attracts 8,000 people each year. This year, it will be held at the intersections of Main Street and Ravine Drive.

The wellness center provides chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy and wellness services for patients in Matawan, Aberdeen, Parlin, Sayreville and South Amboy.
