TAMPA, FL--(Marketwire - Oct 11, 2012) - Battelle, the world's largest independent research and development enterprise, has hired Major General John Folkerts, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), to lead its business with Special Operations Forces (SOF).
Folkerts joins Battelle to build upon, formalize and further develop Battelle's business with Department of Defense Special Operations Forces. He completed a distinguished 34-year-military career, which included four Command assignments, graduation from the National War College and a tour as the Vice Commander of the Air Force Special Operations Command.
