NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Nov 9, 2012) - BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) announced today the addition of three members to its foreign exchange team in New York, confirming the bank's commitment to its North American clients.
Julia Sands joins the FX institutional investor sales team, where she is tasked with building the institutional investor FX business. Julia will be focused on expanding and deepening BNP Paribas' relationships with targeted investors. She comes to BNP Paribas from Morgan Stanley and brings with her strong, long-standing client relationships and a proven pedigree in this space.
Julia will report to Debra Solomon and Sue Evans, co-heads of FX institutional investor sales.
Andy de Phillips joins the FX Asset Manager sales team. Andy has more than 20 years' experience covering institutional clients as a FX sales professional. He brings excellent client relationships and broad market knowledge to help grow BNP Paribas' presence with US Asset Managers. Andy joins BNP Paribas from Credit Suisse where he spent the last 10 years. He will report to Wendy Rosen, Head of FX Asset Manager sales.
Vasili Serebriakov joins the FX Strategy team in NY. Vasili brings over six years' experience analysing the G10 and Emerging Currency markets. Most recently, Vasili was at Wells Fargo where he provided strategy coverage to Corporate and Institutional clients. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst with the economic consultancy 4Cast. Vasili will report to Steven Saywell, Global Head of FX strategy, who is based in London.
