Plantation, FL, Nov. 12, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Andrea Clark, Chairman, CEO and Founder of Health Revenue Assurance Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: HRAA), the leading provider of revenue integrity services for healthcare, has been recognized as a winner for two prestigious Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The awards include Gold for Female Executive of the Year, Business Services and Bronze for Maverick of the Year.
The Stevie Awards were announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis in New York City on Friday, November 9. More than 1,200 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Women Helping Women and Communications Campaign of the Year.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world's top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations - public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2012 awards received entries from 17 nations and territories.
Since August 2011, under Ms. Clark's leadership, HRAA has grown at lightning speed, from eight employees to 82 in under just 10 months. The Company has also expanded its products and services. Additionally, Ms. Clark established a Coding Mentorship focused on revenue cycle, as she realized that the healthcare marketplace would soon see a severe deficit in the number of medical coders employed.
"At HRAA, we believe that the best talent is often homegrown and nurtured, which is why we designed our Coding Mentorship Program to train our employees how to code in a real life environment, enabling them to hone their skills, get credentialed and reach their full potential," said Andrea Clark. "The success of the program is reflected in the trust and loyalty our clients have displayed over the years and we are now working to create more opportunities for job seekers, especially for USA Veterans."
"Andrea is a true leader with foresight to understand the changing dynamics in the healthcare coding sector," said Robert Rubinowitz, President of HRAA. "With deep experience and a true vision for the HRAA and the industry as a whole, it is no surprise that the Stevie Awards has recognized Andrea for her leadership and success."
"I'm very pleased that we were able to conclude our tenth year of organizing the Stevie Awards programs with a very successful Women in Business event," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "This year's Stevie Award-winning women are the most accomplished, impressive group we've ever had. Their stories of success will be an inspiration to women around the globe who dream of starting and growing a business and making a difference in the world."
