STEVENSVILLE, Md., Nov. 27, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club presents its 12th Annual Waterfront Bridal Show on Saturday, January 5th, 2013. A known leader in the Maryland and Washington, DC Bridal Show circuit for innovative and well-attended bridal shows, the Beach Club plans to make this, their largest event ever, a charitable one with proceeds from the show benefitting the Maryland Food Bank – Eastern Shore.
Over the last decade, the Beach Club has established its reputation as the area's most popular venue for extraordinary waterfront weddings. "Through the years we have been fortunate to provide so many couples and their families with our award-winning menu items. We would like to take the opportunity at our Bridal Show this year to give back to the community and support those who are in need," says Erin Janes, Wedding and Events Director.
The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is working closely with The Maryland Food Bank – Eastern Shore for their charitable donation. A portion of the Show proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank's Mobile Food Pantry, which is a truckload of food delivered to a specific community in need. Yvonne Terry, Director of Development for the Eastern Shore says "the Mobile Pantry program is one of our best because it reaches many diverse cultures and age groups who really need to be fed. Several Eastern Shore communities are still suffering from the damage from hurricane Sandy and we will put this donation to good use serving them." In addition to the Beach Club's contribution, donations of canned and non-perishable foods will be accepted at the show.
Newly engaged couples desiring a very special waterfront location for their weddings will want to attend the Beach Club's Bridal Show to see the venue at its "wedding best". With the gorgeous location on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, the venue's long-standing reputation for outstanding personal service and excellent cuisine, the Beach Club remains Maryland's premier location for waterfront wedding ceremonies, receptions and events.
Once again, the Beach Club's outstanding event's team, along with the area's leading Wedding Professionals, transform the waterfront ballrooms into a variety of wedding themes; introducing the latest wedding trends, products and styles. Teresa Hunter, Wedding and Events Manager says, "This year's popular Vintage flair will be incorporated into the show along with classic wedding styles and décor." This year's Bridal Show guests will experience each ballroom interactively, gathering creative ideas and visiting with the Wedding Professionals who helped create these dynamic displays.
In addition to fabulous themed room décor, food and drink displays and impressive musical demonstrations, the Beach Club will showcase four Bridal Boutiques and Stylists featuring the latest in both men's and women's wedding fashions and styling for the entire Bridal Party. In lieu of the typical Runway Fashion Show, each ballroom will feature a different Shop and strolling models so that attendees can get a personal look at the gowns, accessories, trendy up do's and makeup.
The Annual Waterfront Bridal Show takes place on Saturday; January 5th, 2013 from noon to 5pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Attendees may arrive anytime between Noon and 5pm to experience all the show has to offer and all are encouraged to bring donations of canned and non-perishable foods.
