FM3 Performance Marketing to Set the Pace for 2013

Performance event marketing experts anticipate a fun-filled year of competition, jam packed race tracks and record breaking successes.


Grafton, WI., Feb. 7, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- From racing rednecks to pitting the fastest street driven vehicles on earth against each other in an all-out battle for glory to meeting thousands of consumers at shows around the country, FM3 Performance Marketing had an incredible year in 2012.  The performance event experts recently wrapped up a total of 85 events, including the Holley LS Fest, Lingenfelter Performance Nationals, OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational and OPTIMA Faceoff at Road America - and has even bigger plans in store for 2013.

"We coordinated and activated 63 events in 2011, 85 events in 2012 and are proud to already have 90 plus events on our schedule for 2013," said Jimi Day, President of FM3 Performance Marketing. With the help of FM3 Performance Marketing, the 2012 Holley LS Fest brought in nearly 4,000 spectators, 42 vendors on the manufacturers' midway and 375 participants taking part in everything from drag racing to drifting.  Two weeks later, FM3 produced the very first Lingenfelter Performance Nationals, an event that pitted FORD, GM and Chrysler vehicles against one another in competitions that ranged from drag racing to autocross and speed stop challenges.  In addition, the company assisted the OPTIMA Batteries team by planning and directing  the 6th Annual OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational.  For the first time in the history of the event, the race was open to the public and had sold out attendance.

Through FM3 Performance Marketing's five year partnership with OPTIMA Batteries the pair have worked together to grow the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational from a gathering of industry insiders to an event that brings out the nation's fastest and most well built street cars.  Adding to the excitement, SPEED TV's Amanda Salas and Bill Goldberg hosted the miniseries qualifiers and finale of OPTIMA's Search for the Ultimate Street Car, a TV broadcast that highlights the qualifying events leading up to the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational.

FM3 also brought entertainment to the 25th Annual Performance Racing Industry Show by coordinating the company's 4th FM3 Karting Enduro.  The 95-minute kart endurance race gathered 14 teams from big aftermarket names such as QA1 Precision Products, Royal Purple, Red Line Oil, K&N Filters, OPTIMA Batteries and Centerforce Clutches.

"The FM3 Karting Enduro is always a blast, but it doesn't mean we aren't there to win," said Cameron Evans, the Vice President of Red Line Oil and winner of the enduro. "Red Line's friends and family in the industry are usually quick race drivers as well. When we present a team for an event like this, we are lucky enough that this experience helps us run up front. It worked out perfectly this time."

In addition to producing some of the country's most renowned auto events, FM3 was hired to direct all race operations for SPEED TV's R U Faster Than a Redneck?, an all-new show set to air this February.  The company has also been pivotal in bringing some of the top names in the automotive aftermarket industry onboard as event sponsors as well as providing mobile marketing displays, event management and staffing of the professional-caliber track events.
