George W. Bush to Keynote DUG East in November

Hart Energy's successful conference series welcomes back former president

HOUSTON, March 6, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Former President George W. Bush will deliver the keynote luncheon address at Hart Energy's 5th annual DUG East conference and exhibition. This year's event will be held Nov. 13-15 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.

Bush returns to the DUG (Developing Unconventionals) conference series by popular demand. In 2011, he addressed more than 2,500 DUG conference attendees in Ft. Worth.

The conference provides detailed exploration and drilling activity updates, technology exhibits, and peer-to-peer networking for those doing business in the Appalachian Basin. It focuses on the growth producers, service companies, and local economies are experiencing from developing unconventional oil and gas resources. Attendees will hear first-hand reports from senior executives of the most active companies pursuing the Marcellus and Utica plays.

DUG East is part of the company's successful DUG™ conference series, the largest unconventional resource events in the world. The 2012 DUG East event attracted more than 3,200 attendees and 315 exhibitors to a 45,800 net square foot show floor.
