ALEXANDRIA, La., March 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- United Country Bonnette Auctions (www.bonnetteauctions.com) announces the public auction of the City of Alexandria, England Air Park, Red River Levee Board and other area contractors farm, construction equipment and vehicle sale on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 9am local time, according to Barbara Bonnette.
"These public agencies typically sell their surplus vehicles and equipment once a year with the monies raised going back into their general funds," explained Bonnette. "Bonnette Auction Company is pleased to provide professional auction services for these government agencies."
The auction will take place at United Country Bonnette Auctions, 3804 McKeithen Dr., Alexandria, La.
Bonnette said, "We have approximately 100 vehicles, farm, construction equipment, six 15ft batwing mowers, generators, garbage trucks, service trucks, bush hogs, light poles, tractors, grapple trucks, school buses and office equipment all selling to the highest bidder."
Public inspection is scheduled for Friday, March 15, from 8am to 5pm. Bidders must register to participate in this auction, but anyone may attend.
