WATERFORD, IRELAND and WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - Mar 18, 2013) - FeedHenry (www.feedhenry.com), provider of mobile enterprise application solutions that simplify the development and management of mobile apps, announced today that the MyHealthyWorld(SM) mobile e-curriculum has completed an extensive beta testing program across multiple devices and is now available for general distribution to U.S. schools.
The milestone was acknowledged during a St. Patrick's Day business luncheon in Washington D.C. to mark Ireland's strong commercial ties with the U.S. The event featured Ireland's Prime Minister (An Taoiseach) Enda Kenny and other distinguished guests. It was organized by Enterprise Ireland, the government agency responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets.
In partnership with My Healthy World, Inc. The MyHealthyWorld (MHW) application and e-curriculum has been piloted and welcomed by educators and students in more than twelve elementary and middle schools across the U.S. and is receiving national recognition as a game-changing learning tool with the potential to tackle the implications of growing child obesity.
"MHW exploits advances in experiential learning, social networking, and community participation to improve the health and wellness of our young population," states Nelson Rosenbaum, founder and CEO of My Healthy World, Inc. "We needed a next-generation technology platform to support a fast, secure and scalable deployment of the MHW app. FeedHenry's open and agile approach more than met these requirements."
"FeedHenry is delighted to be at the forefront of such an exciting healthcare project. As MHW is rolled out, FeedHenry proves its ability to deliver compelling cloud-based mobile solutions that can scale quickly," said Cathal McGloin, CEO of FeedHenry.
