Dart Appraisal Announces Integration With Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) Database, Linking Appraiser Panel to National Registry

TROY, MI--(Marketwire - Mar 26, 2013) - In keeping with its commitments to advanced technology and superior customer service, Dart Appraisal (www.dartappraisal.com) today announced its integration with ASC.gov, directly linking the company to the federal committee's active database of nearly 80,000 certified and licensed state appraisers from the National Registry. The Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC) of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) oversees the real estate appraisal process as it relates to federally related transactions.

As one of the first appraisal management companies to complete this type of integration with ASC.gov, the appraiser data from Dart Appraisal is now vetted against the National Registry of State-certified and licensed appraisers. This includes licensure and certification information, disciplinary action and the current status of the appraiser. Only appraisers that meet Dart's minimum requirements, including having 1,000 units experience and working in a local appraisal office of less than ten appraisers, will be considered qualified for order assignment.
