BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Apr 1, 2013) - Cooley LLP announced today that Matthew A. Karlyn has joined the firm's business department as a partner and a member of its technology transactions practice group. Karlyn, who will be based in Cooley's Boston office, joins the firm from Foley & Lardner LLP where he was a partner in that firm's information technology and outsourcing practice, as well as its privacy, security and information management practice.

Karlyn's experience includes handling the full gamut of transactional work relating to technology transactions and outsourcing.
