WEST PALM BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Apr 2, 2013) - JustOne Golf, creator of the golf industry's first on-course golf game system offering fun, year-round skill challenges for potentially life-changing cash and prizes, today announced that rollout has commenced for its innovative golf game system that increases player engagement, excitement, camaraderie, spirit of competition, course loyalty and stakes at all levels of play. In March 2013 the highly anticipated system, driven by JustOne's proprietary "Teeosk™" technology, was successfully deployed at Mojave Resort Golf Club in Laughlin, NV and Kingwood Golf Resort in Clayton, GA. As demand surges, in the next few weeks JustOne Golf will deploy its system at Dogwood Golf Club in Austell, GA; Mays Landing Golf & Country Club in Mays Landing, NJ; Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, DE; and Foxchase Golf Club in Stevens, PA; among others.
The breakthrough JustOne Golf system drives more rounds and revenue for golf course owners while maximizing player enjoyment by engaging golfers at all skill levels in on-demand competitive skill experiences, such as hole-in-one and "length of the flagstick" games. The system enables golfers to get more enjoyment and excitement from their golf outing by giving them the chance to win significant -- even life changing -- amounts of money for hitting a hole-in-one. JustOne has already had a $10,000 hole-in-one winner at Rivermont Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia. Each coveted hole-in-one experience is automatically captured in high-definition video and immediately provided to winners for personal use and to share in social media channels.
"The JustOne system puts more excitement in every round and meets a real need for today's golf generation," notes Steven Rattner, CEO of JustOne Golf. "Never before has there been a game platform that aligns with the personal motivations of the golfer to have fun, compete, be entertained and have the opportunity to be handsomely rewarded for their skills."
"Benefits for the golf course facility also abound with increased revenue in all areas of operations, including food and beverage and pro shop sales, as well as increased rounds, repeat business, and word-of-mouth referrals and viral social media exposure," Rattner says. "Additional bottom line-boosting potential for the facility includes the opportunity for media exposure-driven publicity as well as improved advertiser, sponsor, and corporate event revenues. The revenue ripple effect is seemingly endless."
"We've already received great player feedback about the JustOne System we recently installed," said Randy Mudge, PGA General Manager at the Mojave Resort Golf Club in Laughlin, NV. "The System has definitely elevated the golf experience at our course and will greatly differentiate our location from other golf facilities in this highly competitive marketplace where unique value propositions can be hard to come by. Of course, in addition to ensuring our players have the most enjoyable time possible while at our club, the related revenue growth potential, the possibility of driving play during non-peak times with special hole-in-one-related promotions, and the ability to increase and easily manage our outings business and related hole-in-one prizes were also major factors in our decision to install the JustOne System."
How it Works
JustOne Golf's game system platform, which consists of a kiosk at the tee ("Teeosk") designed to blend into the course environment, and unobtrusive high-definition cameras that record the players' experience, is installed on one or more Par 3 holes on the course. The system captures both the golfer's swing and the result of the shot, including the ball rolling into the hole, providing a priceless record of a golfer's skill and golfing achievement. If the player hits the tee shot within the length of the flagstick or makes a hole-in-one, they simply call the JustOne hotline at 855-Just-111 to inform the company of their success with prizes promptly paid by JustOne.
Players may register for play at the Teeosk or arrange pre-paid use of the system in the Pro Shop. Golfers may play for a minimum of $5, and the maximum prize payout is $100,000. JustOne plans to increase the maximum hole-in-one prize payout to $1 Million in the future. Prizes are customizable for each facility or a specific event at the location.
Design Details
JustOne Golf's high-quality, point-of-play kiosk system was designed by Forrest Richardson, ASGCA. Iconic in style, the kiosk is built to specifically blend into a natural golf course environment. The system is also ruggedized for all weather conditions, irrigation, and maintenance activities. All components, including the Teeosk, cameras, touch screen, and networking and communication systems have been engineered and tested to withstand the extremes of golf course weather conditions. The system is quickly installed in just days by the JustOne field team and is remotely monitored during all daytime and early evening hours from JustOne Golf's network operations center to assure proper function. Any system or software upgrades, replacements, or repairs are provided by JustOne, and most of the work can be performed remotely.
