COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 16, 2013) - Intelio Technologies Inc. today announced a new agreement with McCain Manufacturing, a full-scale contract manufacturing company, to nearshore the production of its nationally-recognized ActiVA® "Virtual Attendant" unit for carwashes. Leveraging McCain's convenient location and proximity to Intelio's Southern California headquarters, Intelio will be able to offer increased quality and availability of ActiVA systems as low as $9,995 for a color, touchscreen entry system.

The move comes as part of the Intelio's effort to make finished products and parts more readily available to customers. Originally manufactured in Taiwan, lengthy lead times and capital tied up in overseas shipments prompted Intelio to investigate nearsourcing alternatives. By working with McCain Manufacturing, Intelio is able to cut delivery times in half, while still providing the same high-quality product at an industry-leading price point.

Under the new agreement, McCain will manufacture and assemble the ActiVA virtual attendant at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. McCain's comprehensive services offer Intelio a turnkey solution at a nominal cost difference of going overseas; a benefit that Intelio passes on directly to its customers.
