DAYTON, Ohio, May 7, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc.(MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that the United States Navy (USN) has awarded it a task order to increase web-based collaboration for U.S. Fleet Cyber Command - Commander TENTH Fleet (FCC-C10F) and Navy Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM). The award supports continuing Information Technology (IT) efficiencies as articulated in Navy Cyber Power 2020 (NCP2020) by enhancing information sharing, collaboration and interoperability of enterprise services to Naval Combatant and Joint Force Commanders.
In partnership with FCC-C10F and NAVNETWARCOM personnel, MacB will design custom solutions for portal site design, implementation and management, and provide full time technical support and training on all related collaboration software and applications. In addition, the team will manage the migration from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 and develop best practices for SharePoint portal solutions.

The task order was awarded through the Professional, Technical and Analytical Services (PTAS) for NIOC Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle.
