CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - May 9, 2013) - BACE, a global manufacturer of heavy duty balers and compactors for use in the recycling and waste management industry, has promoted Tom Fahrland to the position, Vice President of Sale. Fahrland joined BACE three years ago, bringing more than 40 years of experience distributing and selling recycling equipment.
"Tom has done a great job developing our growing distribution network," said Matt Hatfield, President of BACE, "and he'll continue to leverage his relationships into new opportunities for our customers. As Vice President of Sales, Tom will bring BACE's new product offerings to his strong distributor network. By his doing so, BACE will continue to fulfill its vision to become the best baler manufacturer in the industry and to pursue its desire to be the most respected."
Fahrland has been a member of ISRI, NSWMA, SWANA and several regional and state recycling associations. He brought his experience to BACE as the company's ownership sought to expand its territories. Fahrland's reputation in the recycling industry, coupled with BACE's aggressive strategy to capture and develop new markets, has been quite successful. Fahrland's promotion is the next step in the execution of that strategy.
