BMW of Tri-Cities First to Debut State-of-the-Art BMW Showroom Design -- A Jewelry Box for Cars

RICHLAND, WASH. - BMW of Tri-Cities (www.bmwtricities.com), owned by the Bush Family, is one of the first BMW Centers in the Western Region of 80 dealerships to present the international corporation's new future retail concepts to the public.

What used to be timeless elegance of black, white and gray, BMW's (www.bmwusa.com) new corporate look includes elements that lend to a more warm and inviting retail environment with the use of wood and earth toned materials. The exterior of the dealership boasts plenty of glass framed by a crisp white finish.

The biggest change, and the Bush Family's favorite upgrade, is the re-vamped showroom that was enlarged to hold up to 10 vehicles.  The showroom ceiling is illuminated with high-tech LED lighting that makes the luxury automobiles sparkle and shine.

"The showroom looks like a jewelry box and really showcases the cars," said TJ Bush, one of the dealership's owners and the general manager. "Our building is one of the first stores in the United States to be renovated using the new Future Retail concepts."

The ability to fit more cars in the Tri-Cities showroom is an advantage to customers who will not have to walk around the outdoor lot in the weather anymore, he added.

The Bush family will be celebrating this monumental remodel throughout the month of May with special parties, exclusive media tours and one-of-a-kind sales offers on most models.

Bush said his family had purchased the Yakima BMW store and migrated it over 75 miles to Richland, with plans to remodel the dealership.  When they heard changes were brewing to the BMW Corporate Identity, his family jumped at the chance to remodel according to the new standards and contacted corporate seeking the opportunity to be one of the first stores to meet the Future Retail standards.  All BMW Centers globally will be expected to adapt to the new corporate identity.

BMW of Tri-Cities was acquired and opened by the Bush Family in May 2011 and is located in Richland, Wash. Tim Bush had started the company with a small buy-here, pay-here lot in the area in 1991 as Tim Bush Motor Company. The company sold Suzukis from 1998 through 2004 and maintained a service business until 2011. The company is now owned by Tim Bush, TJ Bush and Blake Bush.
