Prior to joining Americold, Mr. Sheldon served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of SUPERVALU Inc., a grocery industry leader and second largest food distributor in the United States. While at SUPERVALU, he served as chief legal officer and led the legal, regulatory, risk and compliance functions for the company. Prior to SUPERVALU, Mr. Sheldon worked at Medtronic Inc., the global leader in medical technology. As Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel, he managed the worldwide legal function for the Medtronic Spinal, Biologics and Navigation divisions.
Mr. Sheldon holds a JD degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of Michigan.
