CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - Jul 11, 2013) - Premier Alliance Group, Inc., (
Premier Alliance has secured $114,000 of incentives from SCE that will be applied towards enabling Auto-DR. Once installed and operational, SCE will be able to call upon them to voluntarily load shed up to 380 kW of electricity during peak usage periods. The scope of the project includes installation of control systems that will allow the safe and systematic shutdown of 3 separate production lines along with multiple compressors and heaters, all based on pricing and performance signals from SCE. This functionality will allow the customer to take advantage of SCE's Critical Peak Pricing program, which offers incentives on a kWh basis and could represent over $31,000 of additional annual savings.
"This is another example of the market depth we can cost effectively reach," said Rob Davis, Senior Vice President of Energy Services for Premier Alliance. "You don't have to be a multi-megawatt energy consumer to take advantage of load reduction incentives from the utility. We take a unique and holistic approach to energy management unlike any other solution provider in this space and prove time and again that demand management solutions can be scalable and financially viable for almost any commercial client. There is no reason almost any size organization can't benefit from the $3.5 billion worth of Demand Response and energy efficiency incentives that have been made available by utilities nationwide."
