System Administrator Appreciation Day or "SysAdmin Day" is this Friday, July 26th. It was created in 2000 to recognize the world's 15 million IT professionals, celebrate their workplace contributions, and promote professional excellence. IT professionals support hundreds of millions of employees worldwide across all industries.
In honor of the day, Spiceworks is helping organizations and their employees acknowledge IT professionals with free e-cards. The company is also holding a variety of contests and giveaways in the Spiceworks Community as well hosting and sponsoring appreciation events in the United States and United Kingdom. SpiceCorps, regional groups of Spiceworks users, will meet in cities across North America and Europe.
