COMMERCE, Calif., Aug. 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Due to steady growth, OnTrac, the largest regional overnight delivery company in the eight Western States, has new opportunities for 75 independent owner-operator service providers. To facilitate immediate contracting and rate negotiations with owner-operators, OnTrac is hosting an open house along with 15 local area transportation companies at its Commerce operating facility.
OnTrac contracts with local area transportation companies to supply OnTrac customers' local pickup and delivery service needs. In conjunction with 15 local area transportation companies that contract with OnTrac, the open house will offer an opportunity for owner-operator contractors to discuss opportunities the companies currently have available in the San Diego, Ontario, Los Angeles, Burbank, and Bakersfield areas.
OnTrac, and the 15 local area transportation companies that will be represented at the open house, offer generous business plans with multiple incentives. Owner-operator contractors must have a 24-foot or larger vehicle, with a lift gate, and be able to deliver up to 12 pallets per load to a high dock location. Established transportation experience and area knowledge are a plus.
