Southeastern Freight Lines Upgrades Technology With PeopleNet's Open Fleet Mobility Platform

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Aug 12, 2013) - PeopleNet^®, the leading provider of fleet mobility solutions that reduce cost per mile, improve safety/compliance and enable profitable fleet growth, today announced that Southeastern Freight Lines is replacing its technology with PeopleNet's open platform. SEFL's proprietary applications -- driver logs, vehicle/driver tracking, real-time pick-up and delivery workload management, electronic driver vehicle inspection report, survey system for driver feedback about maintenance performance, and more -- are integrated with PeopleNet's Vehicle Management data and other telematics information such as GPS location. The company is also integrating PeopleNet's In-Cab Navigation and other driver performance metrics.
