BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP LAUNCHES 'BE CHIC BY GIVING' CHARITY INITIATIVE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FASHION DELIVERS

NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As BCBGMAXAZRIA enters into their 25th year in 2014, the brand's heritage of bon chic, bon genre (good style, good attitude) will be celebrated by giving back in partnership with the charitable organization, Fashion Delivers. Fashion Delivers has connected BCBGMAXAZRIA directly with five regionalized charities that have a history of exemplary work with women's empowerment.

The three-day BE CHIC BY GIVING event will take place in all BCBGMAXAZRIA U.S. Retail boutiques and select BCBGMAXAZRIA Canada Retail boutiques from Thursday, September 5th to Saturday, September 7th, 2013. On the first day of the event, customers are invited to visit any Retail boutique to enjoy a glass of champagne. Customers will be empowered to make a purchase and make a difference.

Throughout the event, for every apparel item purchased, BCBGMAXAZRIA will donate one item to a regionalized charity supporting women's empowerment. Donations will be made based on the clothing that is needed most by each regional charity and the women they serve.

In support of this national event and in celebration of the BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2014 Runway Shows, Max and Lubov Azria will be hosting an elevated event at the BCBGMAXAZRIA Flagship store on 40th and 5th in New York City.

Who:     Max and Lubov Azria to host the BE CHIC BY GIVING NYC Launch Event following the BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2014 Runway Show taking place earlier that day. The event is open to the public with invitations extended to press, bloggers and notable supporters of the brand.

What:    BCBGMAXAZRIA's BE CHIC BY GIVING charity initiative will kick off during the Spring 2014 runway season.   Guests will enjoy champagne, macaroons, and an opportunity to meet Max and Lubov Azria while shopping the latest collection. In celebration of the three-day national charitable event, for every apparel item purchased, an item will be donated to charity.
