Hortonworks and WANdisco Partner to Make Hadoop Continuously Available

PALO ALTO, CA and SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 26, 2013) - Hortonworks, the leading contributor to and provider of enterprise Apache™ Hadoop®, and WANdisco (LSE: WAND), a leading provider of continuous availability software for global enterprises to meet the challenges of Big Data, announced that the Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) will support WANdisco's Non-Stop Hadoop technology. With this announcement, Hortonworks and WANdisco are addressing critical enterprise requirements around multi-datacenter data availability so customers can better leverage Apache Hadoop globally across data centers.
