NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 1, 2013) - WildPackets, Inc., a leading provider of network and application performance analysis solutions, today announced the company's OmniPeek solution will be a part of Interop's Network Operations Center (NOC) during Interop New York taking place October 2-3 at the Javits Convention Center in New York, NY.
As a participant in the NOC, WildPackets will provide network analysis and advanced troubleshooting for the internal Interop network, InteropNet. InteropNet is a cornerstone of the Interop event, bringing together a team of volunteers from the industry's leading companies to provide reliable, high-speed network connectivity to attendees and vendors throughout the conference with a common goal of 100 percent reliability and zero downtime. Volunteers play a major role in the design, implementation and operation of InteropNet.
WildPackets' Omnipliance solution was chosen to be a part of Interop's NOC for the products' following capabilities:
- Advanced troubleshooting and real-time analysis: WildPackets provides high-level visibility into both the wired and wireless network segments, resulting in the ability to find and resolve network and application problems quickly.
- Ability to capture data on high-speed networks: WildPackets captures packets at full line rate, ensuring that no packets are lost between the network and storage, and that network engineers have all the data they need for fast, accurate analysis.
- Wireless capabilities (BYOD detection): Omnipliance helps validate the placement of access points and determines signal strength. It also detects and investigates BYOD issues when wireless devices are in motion.
In addition to having its solutions in the NOC, WildPackets will also be demoing its latest product WatchPoint 3.0, which is the first distributed network monitoring solution that uses big data technology to capture all network flow and packet analysis data with one-minute granularity for up to one year. WildPackets will also be showcasing OmniPeek 7.8 with 802.11ac support for wireless monitoring, troubleshooting as well as ability to rapidly identify performance issues or devices causing issues.
