Alfa Laval wins SEK 60 million brewery order in Ireland

Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid
handling – has won an order to supply equipment to Diageo, a premium drinks
manufacturer and owner of brands such as Guinness. The order, booked in the Food
Technology segment late September, has a value of approximately SEK 60 million
and delivery is scheduled for 2014.
Alfa Laval’s equipment will be installed in a complete process line for wort
treatment at Diageo’s Irish brewery, where, among other brands, the famous
Guinness stout is produced.
