Vista Gives Update on Current Operations, Sees Additional Revenue From Tire Facility

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Oct 7, 2013) - Vista International Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: VVIT), a pioneer in efficient Waste-to-Energy technology, is pleased to release an update on the company's current operations.

The company's Waste-to-Energy gasification project is progressing as planned. With all downstream components on site, and construction progressing on the MFG-8 Thermal Gasifier to be utilized in the pilot project, the Vista system installation team will be traveling to the project site shortly to begin pre-installation procedures. These procedures involve ensuring the proper placement of all equipment currently on site, and the adjustment or modification to any portion of the site or building to ensure a proper and timely installation of the Thermal Gasifier. Installation of the Thermal Gasifier unit is expected in December 2013.

The Company also recently completed some upgrades at its tire processing plant in Hutchins, Texas. The main component of these upgrades was an improvement in the Company's tire derived fuel (TDF) screening machinery, which will allow the company to increase its TDF production by 20-25%. The sale of this additional TDF will result in an increase in annual revenue of between $75,000 and $100,000.

CEO Tim Ruddy was pleased with the pace of current operations. "It is imperative that the Company maximize revenue at the Hutchins tire facility while continuing our progress on the waste-to-energy pilot project. The improvements completed at the Hutchins facility do just that, and will allow us to continue the revenue growth we've shown in recent quarters, while executing the expansion of both business segments modeled in our business plan."
