Dart Appraisal Introduces Direct Communication Between Lender and AMC Through Expanded Integration With Ellie Mae's Encompass360(R)

TROY, MI--(Marketwired - Oct 9, 2013) - Dart Appraisal (www.DartAppraisal.com) announces a major expansion of its integration with Ellie Mae's Encompass360® mortgage management solution that will introduce direct user-to-AMC communication and other automated functions to speed the mortgage loan process. Ellie Mae® is a leading provider of loan processing software for mortgage bankers, brokers and other third party originators. 

The expanded integration means that lenders using Encompass360 will now have the ability to communicate with Dart Appraisal directly from Encompass360. All messages between the client and Dart Appraisal will be time and date stamped for accuracy.

"By eliminating the need to for users to switch between their LOS and an email server, the integration now offers direct communication to reduce the time spent on loan processing while adding a layer of risk mitigation," said Michael Dresden, executive vice president of Dart Appraisal. "Taking into account the multitude of loans processed by each user, this small time saver can become a big advantage when compounded daily."

The expanded Encompass360 integration to Dart Appraisal also offers the option for borrowers to pay for the home appraisal online through a link to Dart's secure payment center. Once the lender places an order in Encompass360 and selects the borrower payment option, the borrower is sent an email with a link to Dart's secure payment center. That email contains a Dart-issued order number, allowing the borrower to easily access their loan information and coordinate payment of the appraisal online.

Additionally, users can take advantage of a new TILA Hold feature, which addresses the confirmation of disclosure required by the Truth in Lending Act. The integration's TILA Hold automatically places credit card orders on hold until it is confirmed that disclosures have been delivered to the client or that three days have passed, as required by the Mortgage Disclosure Act. Lenders can simply click "release TILA hold" in the loan file or on Dart's website and the order is sent to Dart for processing.
