NEW YORK, Nov. 21, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Hip Hop Hall of Fame secures Charter and is designated official Museum & Educational Institution. "We're excited and appreciate our real estate development team's work securing our $75M Midtown Manhattan site after 10 months of confidential negotiations," stated chairman JT Thompson, creator of HHHOF Awards television show on BET in 90s. Museum Development Project Manager Zubatkin Owner Representation is moving forward with Architect and Contractor selections to finalize designs and prep construction in 2014 for late 2015 grand opening. The HHHOF has $70M in backing and financing in place on the $90M Museum Project and Operations. The HHHOF Advertising Agency is engaged with brands to finalize the $100M in Sponsorships and Naming Rights partnerships for exclusive categories, floors, and exhibits. The facility includes the Hall, Museum, Retail Store, Sports Bar, Restaurant, Concert Lounge, Arcade, and TV Studios that will serve 1,000,000 visitors, fans, tourists, and students annually. It will produce 300 jobs, internships, host live events, and educational programs for people of all ages. The socio-economic impact in NYC is estimated over $350M annually from on-site and off-site programs, tourism, B2B local commerce, consumer spending, and city revenues.
