GREENSBORO, N.C., Dec. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Registry Network Inc. (RNI) extends contract for Prophecy Healthcare® Inc.'s online validated competency testing, to manage and standardize the testing and screening of healthcare professionals following EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) standards. Prophecy's nationally validated exam content allows RNI to ensure placing highly qualified healthcare professionals within their clients' facilities.
"Years ago we made the decision to make measuring clinical competencies one of the top factors in hiring experienced healthcare staff," explained Eric D. Frehe, Chief Operations Officer of RNI. "Up until that point we were using exams written by an Agency DON or even from an RN with working knowledge in a particular specialty. Since March of 2005 we have felt confident in our hiring, knowing our clinical staff have passed Prophecy's exams that have been nationally validated, and cannot be found posted on the Internet and / or job boards. We are very happy to have extended our contract with Prophecy Healthcare knowing the exams are also EEOC compliant.
"During our 5 years of being a Joint Commission Certified Healthcare Staffing Agency, we have found that as soon as auditors see we are using Prophecy Healthcare as our testing vendor, they say they know our standards have not only met, but exceeded industry expectations."
After being solicited by other vendors in the testing industry, RNI was faced with evaluating the options before them. While completing their due diligence, they surprisingly found electronic resources and social media sites which compromised the integrity of the results of other vendors' assessments. As an organization known for holding their staff to the highest standard, they knew quality of the assessments and reliability of the results was the most important component in their decision.
In 2008, RNI pioneered the full integration of Prophecy with StafferLinkTM, a turnkey medical staffing system focused on the management of healthcare staffing agencies, to further optimize efficiencies and streamline critical processes for their staff. Combining Prophecy and StafferLinkTM allows RNI to track recruiting, competencies, compliance, timecards, billing, and payroll in one integrated environment.
"Having been someone who assisted in connecting Stafferlink and Prophecy, I must say we absolutely love the ease of administering and retrieving results," said Frehe. "With one click of the mouse, exams are sent. When the exams are completed, the results and supporting document instantly upload into Stafferlink. It could not be easier."
"RNI has been a valued client of ours since 2005. From the beginning, Eric and his team shared with us the importance of identifying and providing top performing clinicians to his clients," said Ron Gonzalez, MS BSN, Founder and CEO of Prophecy. "RNI's decision to continue with Prophecy, reinforces their commitment to quality, and demonstrates their appreciation for our passion in creating great exams, while protecting their integrity."
