GSN Games Announces First Game Innovators Scholarship Winner

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - Dec 17, 2013) - GSN Games, a leading provider of cross-platform entertainment, today announced that Brett Morris, a Rochester Institute of Technology student, has been named the winner of its first-ever $2,500 Game Innovators Scholarship. The scholarship program was established to foster the next generation of games industry leaders. 

Morris, a sophomore majoring in game design and development, was selected as the scholarship recipient based on his passion for games, academic standing and vision for a future career in the games industry. Morris plans to become a game designer to provide innovative entertainment to players around the world.

Scholarship applicants were required to submit an official academic transcript and an original essay that describes how they plan to drive innovation in the games industry. Submissions from students representing dozens of colleges nationwide were reviewed by a panel of GSN Games judges.
