TAMPA, FL, Jan. 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IVANS Insurance Solutions announced today that The Motorists Insurance Group has added Activity Notes download to efficiently deliver policy and claims information to its agents using IVANS. Activity Notes is a new ACORD XML data standard that allows carriers to generate and send a variety of policy, billing, claims and policyholder-related messages to their agencies.
IVANS Translation Services for Activity Notes download provides a secure, system-based solution to more efficiently handle essential communication between carriers and their independent agencies that would typically be sent through email, fax and postal mail. In addition, Activity Notes is a solution for sending policy and claims information for unsupported insurance lines of business. Currently, Activity Notes transactions can only be sent using the IVANS network.

For both personal and commercial lines claims activities, Motorists utilizes Activity Notes for notifications, including claims closed, claims closed without pay, claims reopened, element status changes, glass claims, loss payments, new claims, new element, recovery activity and more. Motorists downloads policy documents for all applicable Activity Notes. In addition to introducing Activity Notes, Motorists has engaged IVANS to add claims download capabilities and expects to offer this service to its agents in 2014.
