ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jake Alleman, franchisee and managing partner of Cojak Investments, LLC is pleased to announce the Monday, February 10, 2014 opening of Orlando's first Another Broken Egg Café (ABEC) in Winter Park Village at 430 N. Orlando Ave, Suite N100A, Winter Park, FL 32789. The restaurant will have seating for 100 inside and an additional 71 seats on the outdoor, covered patio which is dog friendly for companion pet dining. The public is invited to come dine at no charge for three fundraising events as part of the grand opening festivities February 6 – February 8. Donations can be made via cash, check or credit card and will be accepted for the featured nonprofits, each with its own special date. Thursday, February 6 will benefit SPCA of Central Florida www.ohs-spca.org whose mission is to promote responsible human behavior toward animals. Seating is available from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Friday, February 7 will support Community Food & Outreach Center http://communityfoodoutreach.org/ providing food and hope in Central Florida. Its mission is to provide a hand up for those in need, helping them to break free from poverty by offering hunger relief, crisis care, transformative education, and employment training opportunities. Seating is available from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Saturday, February 8 will assist Nemour's Children's Hospital in Orlando http://www.nemours.org/givingtonemours.html. As one of the largest non-profit organizations devoted to children's health, Nemours invests in programs and services that benefit the health and lives of children. Seating is available from 8:30 AM to 1 PM.
Guests dining at Another Broken Egg Café will have plenty of tempting dishes to choose from, the entire menu is offered during breakfast, lunch and brunch service, and the restaurant will provide customers with an "at-home" welcoming ambiance and cordial service. The menu features fresh and nutritious southern-inspired dishes. There are six varieties of eggs benedict, 11gourmet omelette choices, an exceptional signature Bananas Foster over Belgian waffles, French toast or sweet potato pancakes, southern crabstack, biscuit beignets, along with handcrafted burgers, specialty sandwiches and fresh salads. Each meal is carefully prepared to order with the highest quality and freshest ingredients available.
ABEC menu prices range on average from $8 to $15 and for breakfast cocktails, don't miss the mimosa, or the house specialty bloody mary priced at $5.99 each. A new addition for this ABEC location is on-tap specialty beers, which will feature breweries from around the Orlando area. Furthermore, ABEC's Healthy Side menu, which includes granola, fruit & quinoa, gluten free friendly jumbo pancakes, the skinny omelette, steel cut oats and simply salmon, is also available at this new Winter Park address.

Alleman and his business partners, Cody Gielen and John Dan Gielen, plan to open four restaurants in Orlando. Cojak Investments currently owns and operates existing Another Broken Egg Cafés in Lafayette, LA, Panama City Beach, FL. and Tuscaloosa, AL. Alleman worked at Another Broken Egg Café for Founder Ron Green while in college in Mandeville, LA and Sandestin, FL. After graduating from Louisiana State University, he opened his first Another Broken Egg Cafe in Lafayette in December 2007, making him Green's first franchisee.
