Kingsborough required one card that could unify campus services. In contrast to their previous card, ScholarChip offered Kingsborough an open-standard card (MIFARE®, ISO 14443). These contactless smart cards employ technology from which a variety of functions can securely operate. ScholarChip has installed its IDManager Card Issuance Stations at the Kingsborough campus to issue contactless smart photo identification cards. These mobile stations, designed and manufactured by ScholarChip, provide high volume fulfillment. In addition to its IDManager application, ScholarChip supports the photography of students and staff via the Web and on both Apple and Android mobile Apps. With speed, accuracy and consistency, Kingsborough was able to issue its students and staff over 25,000 photo ID-cards in just over one week's time.
