MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 31, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cognosante, a leading provider of IT solutions and services for healthcare organizations, was awarded the contract to serve as the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Medical Services (DMS) Arkansas Medicaid Enterprise (AME) Project. The PMO will manage the replacement of the State's current Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), which entails oversight of three implementations: the AME MMIS Core System and Services, AME Pharmacy Systems and Services and AME Data Warehouse.
