ARLINGTON, VA., Feb. 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Child Care Aware ® of America's 2014 Symposium will take place April 2-4, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. This three-day event will focus on child care and early education policies referenced in President Obama's 5th State of the Union address and bills currently before Congress, as well as research, practice and innovation approaches for child care that are shaping how families access quality child care.
"This is the year of opportunity for children and families," said Child Care Aware® of America Executive Director Lynette M. Fraga, Ph.D. "There are several key policies before our state and national leaders in 2014 that can make unparalleled change for the 11 million children in child care in the United States. We're thrilled so many high quality organizations will join us at our 2014 Symposium to make sure these policy changes come to fruition and collaborate around best practices, research and innovative approaches that are helping children learn from birth."
